Attention: Important Legislation in Harrisburg

Pass S.B. 732 - Early in this session, both the House and Senate passed bills dealing with abortion facilities regulations. This legislation is an effort to have abortion facilities regulated the same as other ambulatory surgical facilities. Before adjourning, the House Health Committee amended S.B. 732. In September, the full House will vote and then send it to the Senate for approval. Contact your Pa House Rep. now and ask him/her to vote yes on S.B. 732. This is a critical vote. When the House and Senate approve this bill, the Governor has indicated that he will sign it. This legislation will result in many mothers and children being saved from the abortion industry.

Update: Last action: Removed from table, Oct 31, 2011 [House].

Pass H.B. 1434 - Since 2006, pro-life/pro-family forces have worked to amend our State Constitution to declare that Marriage is between a man and a woman. When the House and Senate pass the bill twice, it will go on the ballot for citizens to approve. NY State is now the 6th state to enact "Same Gender Marriage." Ask your Pa. Rep. to co-sponsor H.B. 1434. Do it now before they return to Harrisburg.
